Seb Wainwright

Seb is a manager at tml Partners, specialising in distribution opportunities across the fund management landscape.

He began his career in content sales within the museum sector but quickly found his niche within Executive Search. He first joined tml Partners in 2019 and has always focussed on senior appointments across asset and wealth management. He then joined a specialist executive search boutique, with increased exposure across both Private Banking and Private Markets. He rejoined the tml Partners team in 2026 to lead on financial services distribution hires.

This experience has led to him developing a large back catalogue of successful placements, supporting a variety of asset and wealth managers to scale and future-proof their distribution functions. These have included clients from independent boutiques through to major blue-chip firms.

Outside of work, Seb is a keen traveller, often planning quick-fire bag packing trips. He is also a (American) sports fan and always welcomes a chat about the NFL.
