Verne recently entered a new chapter of growth, following the acquisition of a majority stake by private equity firm Ardian. With backing from one of the world’s leading investment houses, Verne has accelerated its ambitions across Northern Europe, particularly within the UK market. Their expansion strategy focuses on digital infrastructure aligned with sustainable growth, with revenue operations playing a critical role in enabling that vision.
The Challenge
To support this next phase of commercial scale-up, Verne created a new Revenue Operations Lead position—an instrumental hire that would bring cohesion and performance alignment across the sales, marketing, and customer success functions. This role required a unique blend of commercial and operational acumen, with a strong grounding in revenue operations within the B2B technology sector.
The brief called for an expert in scalable process design and cross-functional collaboration, capable of supporting mid-market to enterprise deal cycles and embedding a culture of data-led decision-making. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, the appointed candidate would be central to unlocking efficiency and alignment across go-to-market teams while supporting Verne’s long-term strategic goals.
