Sovereign Capital is a private equity firm that invests in high-quality businesses, in specific sectors, to achieve accelerated growth and deliver strong returns. Well-known for their “buy-and-build” model, they currently have a portfolio of 16 businesses covering business technology, healthcare, education and financial services.

The Challenge:

The successful candidate would need to join a small, highly dedicated and professional team to continue the good work of their incumbent Marketing & Communications Director, who was dedicating time to other strategic areas of the firm. Private Equity has a dearth of talent in the marketing function, so it was imperative that the candidate has a working knowledge of the sector. Content and commutations were also key aspects of the role that needed attention.
