We are delighted to be partnered exclusively with a leading global law firm in search of a Senior Business Development Lead to oversee their European function for their flagship Dispute Resolution practice. This is an opportunity to go into a Band 1 team globally, aligning local business development and marketing strategy with the firms ambitious global growth plans, as well as collaborating on global client plans with your team across numerous regions. This role will be crucial in driving one of the firms legacy markets, ensuring that the firm stays top of the pile in the Dispute Resolution market.

This role will allow you great autonomy to create impact and influence the make up of the team. You will also be managing a team of 3 practice specialists with scope to grow the team further.

Reporting into the Practice Global Head of Business Development, responsibilities will include:

  • Strategically planning and implementing business development plans to ensure client growth and cross-selling within the wider business development and marketing team.
  • Managing several relationships both internally and externally on a global basis, ensuring buy-in for key business development and market plans.
  • Leading a team of Disputes practice specialists ensuring effective people management by keeping the team motivated.
  • Managing the firms key marketing campaigns and pitch initiatives, to broaden the firm’s brand visibility, and leveraging this to increase commercial growth.

  • Able to present new marketing and client development plans to partners and effectively communicate its necessities to executing these strategies.
