Senior Business Development Manager – Asset Management & Finance

We are delighted to once again be partnered with one of the largest law firms and a leader in the space, in search of a Asset Management BD Lead – a key growth area for the business. You will be leading one of their most reputable and respected practice groups, working within a highly collaborative team to drive strategic growth, with the opportunity to lead on direct client relationship management. This opportunity requires a highly proactive mindset to create genuine impact on a global scale, and bring the firm into new markets which this role will be spearheading.

This opportunity would be fantastic for an established Manager or Senior business development specialist who is already experienced in leading Asset Management teams, or interested in moving into the space.

Reporting into the Global MD for Business Development, responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a cohesive business and marketing plan for the team in order to drive as collaboration across a variety of associated practice teams (in particular the Private Capital team) and ultimately spearhead global growth within new markets.
  • Develop client targeting plans and utilising data & research – taking a big picture approach to building new relationships for the business. There will also be an opportunity to be directly involved with client relationship management.
  • Manage day-to-day client communications and business development activities including generation of new leads, collaborating with events teams and pitching.
  • Directly managing and mentoring one report, as well as other juniors across the team.
