We are delighted to be partnered with a leading international law firm for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead on their Dispute Resolution practice group – a flagship area in their ambitious growth plans. This is an opportunity to spearhead the teams key business development strategies, leading on their international business development activities and thinking about innovative ways to grow the practice, as well as promote best practice around cross-selling and commercial growth. This includes working closely with local and international practice group partners on business development and marketing strategies, as well as managing a team underneath you.
This is a fantastic role for someone who is an established Senior Manager or Head of and enjoys creating impact in long-term projects.
Reporting into the Business Development Director, responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing key business development activities that will have direct contributions to building the practice group’s client base, and creating better client relationships and revenue streams for the team.
- Collaborating regularly with the Knowledge, Operations and Marketing teams, as well as fee earners to identify market trends and opportunities within both the UK market, and international markets.
- Focusing on building the group’s external profile across the UK and international markets, working alongside the marketing manager where relevant to track performance and effectiveness of profile raising activities.
- Line management of two practice group specialists including a BD & Marketing Manager, and an Executive, ensuring a high-performance and collaborative team culture.
