tml Partners are working with a prestigious global law firm dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services through innovation and collaboration is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial individual to serve as the Senior Business Development Manager for their Litigation Practice Group. This individual will take a leadership role in driving business development and marketing efforts, supporting cross-practice initiatives, managing pitches and proposals, and overseeing key events and sponsorships.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with partners and teams to design and execute strategies that promote cross-selling and market growth for the Litigation Practice Group.
- Lead client targeting efforts, ensuring effective pursuit tracking and reporting.
- Develop compelling materials for pitches and proposals, including responses to RFPs.
- Plan and manage events such as webinars, receptions, and client engagements, ensuring all logistics and follow-ups are executed seamlessly.
- Oversee submissions for legal directories and rankings, working with PR teams to prepare content for awards and recognitions.
- Identify and coordinate participation in conferences, sponsorships, and profile-building opportunities, ensuring benefits are maximized and promoted effectively.
- Maintain and update marketing collateral for the practice group, ensuring alignment with go-to-market strategies.
- Organize meetings, drive internal communication, and facilitate knowledge sharing across practice teams.
- Collaborate with business development counterparts across the firm to identify synergies and enhance cross-practice pursuits.
- Analyze ROI for marketing and BD expenses to inform decision-making.
- Conduct strategic research to identify potential clients, understand market trends, and refine positioning to maximize growth opportunities.
- Advocate for and utilize firm technologies such as CRM systems and experience management tools to enhance BD efforts.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree and extensive experience ideally within a law firm or professional services setting.
- Resourcefulness, creativity, and the ability to balance detail orientation with strategic thinking in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, and experience with CRM platforms.
