tml Partners are partnered with one of the world’s leading law firms, seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth and innovation in the Life Sciences sector. This is a pivotal role where you will work closely with sector leadership and client teams to enhance the brand, build client relationships, and deliver impactful business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sector leadership to develop and implement the global business development strategy.
  • Build deep market knowledge of the Life Sciences sector and provide strategic insights to support client engagement.
  • Manage key client accounts, working with client relationship partners to foster long-term, profitable relationships.
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives and brand-building activities, including events and cross-practice collaboration.
  • Support pitches and proposals with strategic input and market expertise to secure high-value opportunities.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in business development, with a strong focus on strategic selling and client relationship management.
  • Demonstrated expertise ideally within the life sciences sector.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders within a professional services or large corporate environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a track record of building strong, trusting relationships across teams and with clients.
  • Commercial awareness, resilience, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
