tml Partners are collaborating with a law firm who have gone through some exciting change and are now looking to expand their global footprint, targeting mid-market private capital and corporate clients.

We’re looking for a Senior BD Manager to bring structure, strategy, and commercial focus to the team. You’ll play a key role in building a high-performing BD function, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving opportunity generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic BD framework across multiple departments and sectors.
  • Drive a sales-led culture, identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
  • Lead key account management and relationship-building initiatives with corporate clients.
  • Deliver BD training and coaching for senior stakeholders to enhance commercial acumen.
  • Work closely with firm leadership to provide client insights, structure, and growth strategy.

Key Requirements

  • Proven BD experience in professional services, ideally law.
  • Strong relationship management and key account development expertise.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior lawyers and firm leadership.
  • Experience in BD training, coaching, and driving behaviour change.
  • Ability to work strategically while navigating a fast-changing, evolving environment.
