tml Partners are beyond delighted to have been retained by a global strategy consulting firm to appoint an EMEA marketing and business development leader, with a clear remit to drive substantial growth across the region, embedding a high-performance culture, and delivering change programmes to meet the needs and requirements of a client centric organisation growing internationally.
Importantly, this appointment will have a clear route to partnership, or for the right individual, a partner title from the get-go.
Taking on a high performing and senior team of c. 40+ individuals, to be sized and structured appropriately to the needs of the business, you will embed a function aligned to geographical, service line, industry and client requirements. Likewise, as an emissary of the EMEA executive and a natural networker, you will build strong commercial relationships with the larger global organisation predominantly centred around the US, including group / central marketing as an engine room of high-performance data, digital and content to construct and deliver best in class campaigns across your regional audiences.
Some of the core accountabilities will encompass:
- Embed models of efficiency and process that lead to focussed, client centric relationship and marketing programmes that instil consensus across a broad and diverse partnership model;
- Evolution, not revolution, of the existing model to move country marketing and sales enablement towards issues led, bigger picture and industry or thematic focussed campaigns;
- Create a digital first culture, including the role out of a new global CRM, to build forward momentum around how MBD activity is tracked and ultimately leads to commercial and profitable growth across the organisation;
- Lead the development of new markets, clients and opportunities both across the EMEA region, but also through new client channels either direct to customer (equally leveraging a network of external advisors / rainmakers) or through channels such as PE;
- Take a known and credible brand to the next level, seen as a global powerhouse and leader in disciplines not just focussed around existing areas of brand equity and expertise.
