tml Partners are delighted to have been retained by one of the world’s most renowned brands in the wealth management arena to appoint a Director of Business Development, to lead and manage an exciting growth strategy encompassing a wide variety of client acquisition activities.
Working with external intermediaries (lawyers, accountants and other consultants) as well as the firm extensive internal referral network, this is a unique opportunity to join a powerhouse brand at a pivotal moment in the development of their marketing and strategic relationship strategy.
Working closely with both the Marketing & BD MD and Front Office MD, this role for the firm will form part of a close knit and high performing team to evolve the image of wealth management for the next generation whilst preserving the prestige of its past heritage.
On behalf of this phenomenal brand, we’re looking for:
- A proven business development leader; able to not only build UK regional and cross departmental relationships within target markets and organisations, but lead and win work across the external intermediary network to drive referrals;
- An analytical thinker; have an analytical approach to targeting, and work with the wider marketing and client advisor functions on the whole opportunity lifecycle from awareness and capture of new business.
- A natural relationship builder; be comfortable leading from the front and building relationships out in the market, becoming a trusted advisor to clients to influence and drive the process from an early stage all the way through to capturing new clients.
It would naturally be advantageous to come to the table with an existing book of contacts, however there will be an equal focus on empowering and enabling the client advisor community to develop their own relationships and personal brand through B2B channels.
The successful individual will bring a strong understanding of both the wealth management sector as well as the exciting opportunities a growing, digitally orientated marketing team can provide to this role.
