A globally recognized law firm, renowned for advising on high-profile transactions and disputes, is seeking a Director of Client Development to oversee Litigation and Regulatory practices. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, supporting marketing initiatives for lawyers, and managing a Client Development Team for Litigation.
This position reports directly to the Co-Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Litigation Chairs, Practice Group Leaders, and Marketing & BD leadership to define visibility and client development priorities for the Litigation and Regulatory practices.
- Lead the development, implementation, and assessment of strategic initiatives for relevant practices and teams.
- Provide coaching to lawyers on visibility and client development strategies.
- Partner with the Client Development Director – Transactional to pursue cross-practice and international opportunities.
- Drive client development efforts, including responding to RFPs, creating client-focused materials, and conducting client relationship reviews.
- Work with Market Intelligence and Knowledge Management teams to collect and analyze matter experience data.
- Collaborate with Practice Group Managers to guide broader practice initiatives through a marketing lens.
- Manage a team supporting Litigation and Regulatory practices, including oversight of the Global Proposals Team.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work comfortably with executives.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management capabilities.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to perform under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Commitment to managing a geographically diverse team and ensuring strong execution of initiatives.
