Digital Marketing Manager
One of the leading Premier League football clubs is seeking to appoint a new Digital Marketing Manager to drive the club’s digital growth strategy and strengthen its global brand presence. Reporting to the Head of Digital, the Digital Marketing Manager will oversee all digital platforms, ensuring the adoption of best practices across all channels. The role involves planning, promoting, and executing digital fan events while coordinating with guests and third-party providers. The successful candidate will also lead the delivery of new membership schemes, using audience segmentation strategies to increase engagement. In addition, they will provide essential digital support for retail and ticketing campaigns, collaborating closely with the commercial team to align digital initiatives with broader business objectives. This role also includes supporting the Head of Digital in developing and executing a content strategy to grow the club’s global fanbase, ensuring that digital and social media platforms reflect the latest trends and technologies, and working to continuously improve fan interaction through innovative digital products.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale digital projects and campaigns, particularly within the sports, entertainment, or media sectors. They will be adept at developing data-driven digital strategies and driving content across multiple platforms, including social media. Experience with membership or loyalty programs aimed at enhancing fan engagement is essential, as is the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, commercial teams, and external agencies to deliver impactful digital solutions. Strong leadership and organisational skills are crucial, along with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying abreast of the latest digital trends and technologies.
