We are delighted to be partnered with an elite US law firm in search of a Frankfurt based Business Development Lead to oversee their Germany / Luxembourg business development, marketing and communications offering, whilst playing a collaborative role in the firms wider EMEA commercial growth. This is an opportunity to go into a Band 1 team globally, being part of a pivotal moment in their German history, as this person will make a huge impact in driving the foundations of business development, as well as being tasked to grow a new team in Germany.

This role will allow you great autonomy to create impact and influence the make up of the team.

Reporting into the Associate BD and Marketing Director (based in the US), responsibilities will include:

  • Strategically planning and implementing business development plans to ensure both local and international client growth and cross-selling within the wider business development and marketing team.
  • Managing several partner relationships to drive greater collaboration between fee-earners and business development & marketing, ensuring an alignment on business and commercial growth strategies.
  • Leading on crucial business development and marketing tasks such as pitching and proposals, campaign management and creating client plans.
  • Supporting the growth of the German and EMEA team through leading on recruitment of junior talent to manage.
