With continuous innovation and ambitious growth targets, the NewDay were looking for an experienced Partnerships Marketing Manager to drive new customer growth and media spend efficiency through their outsourced marketing partner.

Malisha Patel of tml Partners worked closely with NewDay’s HR, marketing and commercial leadership team to understand the role and business objectives. Leveraging her network of contacts across the financial services market, Malisha was able to introduce a shortlist of profiles, resulting in the successful appointment of William Pointing to the role.

With a strong background in performance marketing and affiliate management, and having worked in businesses such as MoneySuperMarket and WPP, William was able to bring a strong knowledge and understanding of the Affiliate networks and strategy to hit the ground running. With a good blend of digital marketing experience as well as strong analytics and optimisation skills, William had all the right skills the business was looking for.

William was on-boarded into the business just as the UK went into lock-down, but the business ensured he had everything he needed from day one. A few months on and William has settled into the team well, and has been able to drive efficiencies across the function.
