This is an opportunity to join this exciting business as the VP of Show Content and really drive the key concepts and features for the businesses iconic flagship events to make them experiences that audiences won’t forget.
This is a highly critical and pivotal role for the business, responsible for connecting across multiple internal functions, bringing together content teams, experience and show teams and as well as marketing to establish unique and out of the box formats, concepts and speakers to ensure relevant topics and insights are delivered in the most engaging way.
You are not expected to be an industry expert and will work closely with the content team and VP of Industry Strategy who can drive decisions on industry relevant topics. This role will bring all these areas together and be able to suggest and plan unique ways to present these topics during the events.
- You will be able to form strong relationships with key note speakers ensuring mutual benefit and driving exclusive partnerships for the brand.
- You will work with sales and BD teams to understand audiences that attend the two flagship events, and develop formats that align to the audience type to maximise engagement.
- You will have experience working in the events industry on large global events & large stages, and understand the end to end process to bring together show content and concepts.
- This is an opportunity to re-imagine for the shows formats in a way that will ensure audiences react and respond positively to the events and content.
- In addition to the flagship events, this individual will get involved in some of the wider initiatives the business are running to encourage and empower diversity in the sector.
You will be an excellent project manager, who will own the Show Content Strategy end to end, managing your team of 3-4 individuals, as well as managing upwards and cross-functionally to ensure timelines are in place and key deliverables are met early to enable smooth running of the shows.
This role can be based in UK or USA, with a preference for the role to be based in the UK HQ with occasional travel to the USA.
