We are absolutely delighted to be partnered with a new international legal client in search of a newly created Senior Business Development Lead to support on their recently established Projects practice team. This position is a compelling role to be a strategic lead and advisor for a highly dynamic group, encompassing their energy, infrastructure, construction, government matters and transport projects. This role will implement the firm’s recently launched 5-year strategy to leverage its global platform to win existing clients and ensure connectivity with the firm’s international network, including the US, Europe, Middle East and APAC.

This opportunity is a fantastic next step for a Manager stepping up into a Senior Manager position, as well as already established Senior Managers!

Reporting into the Head of Business Development, responsibilities will include:

  • Leading on establishing business plans for the practice group, with strong collaboration with partner and wider stakeholder groups to advise on the group’s positioning in the market – ensuring its success!
  • Managing work-winning initiatives including pitching and proposals, as well as direct account management of existing international clients, ensuring cross-selling goals are being met.
  • Spearheading integrated campaign plans using the firm’s full range of marketing channels, and collaborating with lawyers to ensure technical content is being positioned in a compelling manner, ensuring effective profile-raising.
  • Managing a Senior Executive underneath you, tasked with supporting the team, and in turn you will guide their development.
