We are absolutely delighted to once again be partnered with a leading US law firm in search of a newly created Business Development Manager opportunity based in London, to support their global energy practice. This position has been created as part of a new strategic direction for the firm, and though based in London, will have heavy ties in the US and their wider international community. This is a compelling opportunity to be at the forefront of new business area, creating mass impact and being the main focal point for the group’s UK capabilities.
Reporting into the Senior BD Lead, based in the US, responsibilities will include:
- Leading the international capabilities for the practice group, including pitching and collaborating with the US team regularly on cross-selling opportunities.
- Manage strategically relevant client targeting programs, including driving pursuits opportunities, all done through effective research and analysing wider market trends.
- Engage with partners regularly, both in the local market (London and EMEA), as well as internationally to ensure consistent alignment with business strategy and practice growth.
- Lead on day-to-day activities, including collaborating with events team for client-led events, supporting the PR team and more.
