tml Partners is delighted to be partnering with a leading global private equity investor in their search for an experienced Head of/Senior Events Manager on a 12-month FTC basis. We are seeking an individual with strong capabilities in delivering events strategy, managing high-profile events, and advising senior stakeholders. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, making it ideal for a strong project manager who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You will be responsible for planning and executing a diverse range of events, from intimate dinners to large-scale AGMs and flagship events, with a primary focus on Europe and Asia. Working alongside your US counterpart and supported by three direct reports, you will define and execute a firm-wide global events strategy. This role sits within the marketing and communication team, where you will collaborate closely with the content team to assist in devising innovative methods aimed at heightening awareness and ROI.
We are seeking a proactive self-starter who thrives in a lean environment. The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, highly organised, and adept at influencing stakeholders to drive decisions. An individual who possesses end-to-end event management experience, demonstrates global exposure, and is well-connected within the events community would be an excellent fit. You will also oversee the entire events calendar to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, brand guidelines, and ROI targets.
Experience in the FS events industry is essential, with a solid understanding of industry trends, best practices, and event technologies. Familiarity with financial services or private equity sectors is critical; global remit is advantageous but not a necessity. Travel is required with this role, and the client is offering a competitive salary.
