We are absolutely delighted to have been mandated, and partnered with a leading international law firm in search of a pivotal Head of Business Development hire for their cross-practice offering, as they go through an ambitious growth cycle. This firm has implemented key client programme strategies, which this person will be heavily involved in ensuring its effectiveness and ingraining a culture of commerciality within the practice and sectors team. This is a compelling opportunity to be at the forefront of new business growth ideas and leading on the entire business development gambit, with a team underneath you.

Reporting into the Director of Business Development, responsibilities will include:

  • Shaping the entire business development strategy and effectively map out a cohesive plan to connect the dots between the new business team, and the practice and sectors team.
  • Lead on ingraining a market-facing and client centric culture across the business, building a team that can directly engage with clients and bring key insights back to the business to effectively use for commercial growth.
  • Present fresh ideas to the partner group and wider business that will create impact from revenue perspective, which includes targeted business development programmes which will ensure greater market share.
  • Directly line managing a team of 6, with a wider team of 20, ensuring that there is effective tracking and reporting of the effectiveness of BD and sales activity.
