We are exclusively partnered with one of the elite law firms in the London and international markets, in search of a Senior Business Development Lead within their flagship Finance practice group. This role comes at a unique time of transition, with new leadership hires, and strategies being put in place. You will have the opportunity to be a genuine leader with one of the most high-profile brands in the legal market. This is a crucial role within their Clients and Markets team, taking a more client centric approach, working alongside knowledge lawyers and stakeholders across the practice to ensure the team is winning new business, building relationships with existing clients and be a strategic leader for the partner group.
This role would be best for an established Senior Manager across Corporate and Finance practice groups, who is able to have a commercial mindset, and always be proactive around new opportunities for growth.
Reporting into the newly appointed Group Head of Clients and Markets, responsibilities will include:
- Provide strategic leadership for the Financing group, leading the development and embedding of commercial strategies to ensure the team’s continual client development and strengthening of relationships.
- Collaborate with partners in pursuing client development and targeting opportunities, utilising data and analytics to bring ideas to the table, and ensure the groups commercial success.
- Managing their engagement initiatives, including content, and thought leadership programmes, ensuring that the team are well positioned to capitalise on their investments, and building strong ROI.
- People management responsibility of a Senior Business Development Executive, providing mentorship to allow them opportunities to develop and progress.
