The Challenge
RSM US needed an experienced brand leader to evolve its brand platform, creative strategy and content ecosystem at pace, reporting into the firm’s Chief Marketing Officer and sitting on the Marketing Leadership Team. The brief spanned brand strategy and narrative architecture for new offerings and sub-brands, creative and editorial leadership across digital storytelling, video and executive thought leadership, and talent brand work alongside HR, while leading a team of around ten internal creative and content professionals and managing external agency partnerships.
Given the scope and seniority of the role, and the need to move quickly during a period of growth, RSM US turned to tml Partners’ North America team for an interim leader who could step in with immediate credibility and momentum.
The Solution
Charlie Green, Managing Director at tml Partners, led the assignment from tml’s North America desk. Working closely with RSM US’s Chief Marketing Officer, Charlie identified Jennifer Meyers, an experienced brand leader, for the Interim Head of Brand Strategy assignment.
Jennifer has since been leading RSM US’s brand platform and creative strategy, working across brand narrative, executive thought leadership and talent brand.
