tml Partners feature in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2023, powered by WorkL

The Sunday Times Best Places to Work, powered by WorkL, has revealed its list for the UK for 2023. This nationwide workplace survey honours and celebrates Britain’s top employers and acknowledges the best workplaces for women, the LGBTQIA+ community, disabled employees, ethnic minorities, younger and older workers, and employee wellbeing.

PizzaExpress, Fat Face, OVO and David Lloyd Leisure were among the top 10 best employers. Arcadis topped the list for ethnic minorities, while Thomas Franks was named the best for LGBTQIA+ employees.

tml Partners are delighted to also be recognised on the list of best places to work.

Chris Longcroft, EVP Publisher, The Times and The Sunday Times, said: “The Sunday Times Best Places to Work awards recognise companies that create a happier and fulfilling working environment for all, by fostering engagement from their teams, yielding great business and performance in return. We wish all of those companies who made the grade this year many congratulations.”

Simon Bassett, CEO of tml Partners, said: “The whole team at tml are delighted to be recognised as one of the best places to work in the UK. As a certified B Corp and people-centric business, employee satisfaction and engagement is so important to us. The leadership team have worked incredibly hard to build a diverse and inclusive culture with a strong sense of purpose and belonging at our core. We’re continually looking at how we can improve our employee benefits and wellbeing strategy.”

The survey has revealed some new workplace practices across the UK, including allowing employees to bring their pets into the office. Working a four-day week also proved popular.

The Sunday Times partnered with employee-experience platform WorkL to deliver fresh insights into what makes a Best Place to Work. Using 35 questions from WorkL’s employee engagement survey, the award most accurately monitors employee engagement and wellbeing in the workplace.

Lord Mark Price, Founder of WorkL, said: “Many Congratulations to this year’s winners of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work, powered by WorkL. You should be very proud of your achievement of being recognised as one of the very best places to work in the UK. I have little doubt that these awards will help with both retention of your existing employees and drive recruitment of the best candidates into your organisations in the year ahead.”
