An elite, globally recognized law firm with a sprawling international footprint and a reputation for handling high-stakes corporate and legal matters is seeking an ambitious Senior Pitches and Proposals Manager. Operating across major financial centers and commercial capitals across five continents, this organization delivers world-class solutions to high-profile clients. This strategic role will take a central position in leading pitch strategies, orchestrating complex RFP responses, and driving business development initiatives across the firm’s global practice groups.
This role can be based across multiple US offices, including but not limited to New York, Chicago, Boston and Washington D.C.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the overall strategy, process, and execution for high-stakes proposals, formal RFPs, and pitch materials, ensuring a seamless approach from opportunity identification to submission.
- Developing an intimate understanding of the firm’s diverse practice groups and industry sectors to write, edit, and curate compelling, tailored content that highlights unique organizational capabilities.
- Providing expert strategic counsel to senior partners and practice leaders, preparing them for pitch presentations and driving alignment on win-themes and messaging strategy.
- Designing and implementing best-practice guidelines and framework procedures for proposal management, systematically identifying and resolving roadblocks to optimize win rates.
- Conducting comprehensive post-pitch reviews, both internal and external, to capture feedback, measure results, and continuously refine competitive strategies across the firm.
- Mentoring and supervising junior pitches and proposals team members, setting clear priorities, and fostering a collaborative culture of excellence.

- You possess exceptional writing, editing, and strategic messaging skills, with a proven ability to translate complex legal capabilities into compelling, client-centric narratives.
- You are a proactive collaborator with the commercial acumen and interpersonal diplomacy required to advise senior leadership, manage partner expectations, and navigate complex relationships.
- You excel in deadline-driven environments, bringing outstanding project management abilities to oversee complex project plans, timelines, and cross-functional deliverables simultaneously.
- You are a power user of standard document and presentation platforms, with technical proficiency in proposal management software and legal experience databases highly regarded.
