We are delighted to once again be partnered with one of the fastest growing international law firms in search of a Senior Business Development Manager to lead their flagship Life Sciences sector group. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead on a crucial area for the firm, with the group having heavy influence internally, and this person will spearhead the sector strategy for their UK and EMEA regions, developing key client centric plans and executing them, and being a advisory partner to senior stakeholders.

This is a fantastic role for an established Senior Manager who is passionate about the Life Sciences space, and is comfortable being a genuine strategic leader with people management responsibility.

Reporting into the firm Business Development & Marketing Director, responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing key business development strategies that will have direct contributions to drive client pipelines and enable the team to garner new client wins.
  • Working closely with international sector leadership team members to develop an effective sector strategy that aligns with the firm objectives, as well as overseeing the delivery of the UK sector plans.
  • Leading on sector specific marketing and communications plans to ensure enhanced visibility from clients in key target markets including BioTech, Pharmaceuticals and more.
  • Line management of a high-performing team, ensuring an engaged cross-border community and that all strategies are being executed effectively.

  • Highly collaborative with various stakeholder including fee earners and partners, and is able to articulate key business growth strategies in a compelling way that inspires stakeholders.
  • A strong people leader that can showcase a strong level of influence, and be accountable for all tactical execution of strategies.
