We are delighted to be once again working in the vibrant Paris market alongside one of the largest law firms globally in search of a Senior Business Development Manager who will spearhead a new period of international growth within the firm. This firm has been growing out their EMEA function on a significant scale, and Paris will be the forefront of this, with this opportunity sitting in a highly inclusive international environment and leading on a broad range of BD activities.

This opportunity will also have a line management responsibility in Germany, with a strong chance of team growth in Paris, and this person will be overseeing the local Paris, Brussels and Frankfurt BD projects.

Reporting into the EMEA BD Lead (based in London), responsibilities will include:

  • Curating and leading on client targeting strategies across continental Europe, as well as collaborating with the wider international group, in particular the EMEA BD Lead based in London to ensure effective international Business Development strategy & execution.
  • Leading strategic research on clients, competitors and wider market to identify business opportunities and ultimately lead on client facing pitches to win business.
  • Coaching and advising partners within local offices (Paris, Brussels and Frankfurt) on their profile raising and business development plans.
  • Line management of a specialist in Frankfurt, with room for further team growth in Paris.

  • Self-motivated individuals who are comfortable liaising and engaging partners and senior stakeholders with ideas – whilst communicating these thoughts effectively.
