The Role

As the Head of Media & Crisis, the successful candidate will act as the strategic architect of the firm’s global narrative. Operating as the lead for a global “Centre of Excellence,” this individual will be the trusted advisor to senior leadership, navigating high-stakes reputational risks and shaping how the firm is perceived on the world stage. This is a high-visibility role designed for a sophisticated communicator who can balance the nuance of international media relations with the rigor of corporate reporting and crisis management.

Key Responsibilities

The Head of Media & Crisis will develop and execute global strategies for media engagement, crisis response, and corporate reporting. This includes fostering elite-level relationships with international journalists, designing robust crisis playbooks, and overseeing the publication of high-profile annual and sustainability reports. By partnering with legal and risk departments, the role ensures that all global messaging is consistent, impactful, and aligned with the firm’s elite market positioning.

Key Requirements

  • Extensive Global Experience: A proven track record in media relations and crisis communications within a large global business.
  • Executive Advisory Skills: Demonstrated experience advising C-suite stakeholders on high-stakes engagements and reputational threats.
  • Corporate Reporting Expertise: Substantial background in coordinating major disclosures, such as annual reviews or sustainability reports.
