This is a unique opportunity to join a growing client events team and develop your career alongside experts in the industry. You will support the end-to-end execution of sophisticated client-facing events that advance the firm’s strategic vision. This includes client dinners, seminars and webinars, off-site retreats, sporting events and concerts, and other client-centric networking activities. The role also involves coordinating event-related materials, providing essential on-site support, and managing event budgets and RSVP tracking. You will also assist with event technology for in-person and hybrid programming.
We are looking for a responsive, organized, self-starter with good judgment, sophisticated taste, and qualities that inspire confidence, respect, and trust. Experience in event planning in a fast-paced professional services organization or law firm is preferred. Ideal candidates are creative, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting multiple events and time-sensitive deadlines concurrently. They must possess strong interpersonal and client service skills and communicate effectively at all levels. Keeping current on New York’s restaurant scene and happenings in and around the city is essential, with the ability to bring these capabilities to bear outside of New York. The role requires technological savvy, including familiarity with platforms such as Zoom and InterAction or an equivalent CRM System.
