The successful candidate will take a lead role in shaping and executing business development strategies for a department renowned for its excellence in protecting and monetizing complex assets. Reporting to the Senior Director, you will act as a strategic partner to legal leadership, identifying market opportunities and translating them into actionable growth initiatives. This is a highly collaborative position that involves working closely with partners to enhance client relationships, lead sophisticated pitch processes, and elevate the firm’s profile through targeted industry participation. You will be responsible for overseeing high-impact contributions that ensure the department remains at the forefront of the legal sector.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in professional services business development, specifically within a legal environment. They will have a proven track record of supporting specialized practice groups and a deep understanding of the competitive landscape in the intellectual property space. While direct experience in this specific legal field is highly desirable, a legal degree and a strong background in professional services marketing will also be considered. The successful individual will demonstrate a proactive, client-focused attitude and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, multi-office environment with precision and commercial awareness.
