We are delighted to be partnered once again with an elite law firm in search of a Business Development Lead for one of their flagship financial services practice groups – seen as their most high-profile team. This person will spearhead the teams growth plans, taking a client centric approach to business development strategy, as well as being a key point of contact for the partner group, advising on new ideas and proactive work.

This comes at a time of exciting change and movement within the team, with this role having fantastic long-term growth opportunities.

Reporting into the Head of Business Development – Finance, responsibilities will include:

  • Curating and leading on client targeting strategies within the practice, ensuring that you are generating new ideas as well as executing these projects to ensure growth.
  • Leading on market research for the practice to ensure seamless opportunity spotting, which you can bring to partners and ensure client revenue growth.
  • Coaching and advising partners on their profile raising (including supporting with events and campaign tasks), and business development plans.
  • Collaborating with wider business teams such as adjacent business development practice groups and knowledge lawyers to encourage cross-selling opportunities.

  • An established Manager with confidence in developing top level strategic projects and presenting this to stakeholders and partner groups through a data-backed approach.
  • Someone with a high-level experience and understanding of business development and marketing initiatives within a law firm and / or wider professional services environment.
  • A commercially minded individual with a strong grasp of market research initiatives and applying these to client relationship programmes, resulting in revenue growth.
  • Self-motivated individuals who are comfortable liaising and engaging other business teams with new ideas – whilst communicating these thoughts effectively.
