This position is a client and business development role based in New York with global responsibilities. You will work closely with high-profile investment funds partners and senior business development leadership on key initiatives for the firm’s global investment funds practice and related practice groups. You will be involved in the end-to-end execution of the strategic vision for the firm’s global funds-related initiatives as well as the broader transactional department. The role involves preparing pitch materials, responses to RFPs, and other client presentations, while also collaborating with the firm’s content team on directory and award submissions and meeting rolling funds league table deadlines.
The firm is seeking a highly professional and collaborative individual with experience in a successful business development or marketing role in a professional services environment focused on a corporate practice. Strong knowledge of fund formation, asset management M&A, and private equity is preferred.
Key Qualifications include: The successful candidate must possess outstanding proofreading and communication skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize in a demanding environment with meticulous attention to detail. A solid command of software applications to produce high-end, professional work product, including PowerPoint and Excel is necessary. Experience with corporate research platforms like Preqin, PitchBook, and PEI/PDI, as well as InterAction or an equivalent CRM system, is a plus.
