tml Partners is partnering with a leading global investment and real assets organization to appoint a PR Director to its global communications function.
This is a high-profile opportunity for an accomplished media relations and corporate communications professional to help shape and amplify the external narrative of a major international business. Working as part of a global PR team, the successful candidate will lead enterprise-level communications initiatives, build relationships with influential media, and position senior executives around the themes shaping the organization and its markets.
The role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to operate across an international organization, combining proactive storytelling and media engagement with reputation management, executive communications, and data-driven PR.
The PR Director will play a central role in executing the organization’s global public relations strategy and strengthening its profile across priority markets.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading corporate announcements and developing compelling stories that reinforce the organization’s strategic narrative.
- Proactively securing media opportunities through pitching, newsjacking, and thought leadership.
- Building strong relationships with leading business, financial, and industry media.
- Advising and preparing senior executives for interviews, briefings, and external engagements.
- Supporting the global press office, including media inquiries and reputational issues.
- Collaborating with communications colleagues globally to ensure consistent messaging across markets.
- Using media intelligence and analytics to measure performance and inform communications strategy.
We are interested in speaking with high-caliber PR and corporate communications professionals who combine strong media instincts with the ability to operate strategically in a complex, global organization.
You should bring:
- Strong experience in PR, media relations, or corporate communications, gained in-house, agency-side, or through a combination of both.
- A track record of securing meaningful earned media coverage and building trusted relationships with journalists.
- Experience translating complex business topics into clear, compelling external narratives.
- Confidence working with and advising senior executives.
- Experience in a sophisticated or reputation-sensitive organization; exposure to investment management, financial services, real estate, or other complex sectors would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and strong news instincts.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to operate effectively across functions, geographies, and time zones.
This opportunity would suit an ambitious communications professional who enjoys being close to the news agenda, wants meaningful access to senior leadership, and is motivated by the opportunity to help shape the external reputation of a substantial global organization.
