We are delighted to partnered once again with a leading UK firm in search of a Business Development Manager within their flagship Private Client practice group. This person will be collaborating with the newly appointed Head of Business Development for the practice group, to ensure that there are effective growth objectives in place to ensure strong commercial growth. This person will be involved in building the firms high-profile clients, whilst developing intermediary programmes, and developing key strategic objectives to present to the partner group.
The firm has been through a fantastic period of growth, and this is a crucial hire which would be great for an established Manager. The firm also has offices across the country, and this role can be based in any of their key offices (London, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield and more).
Reporting into the Head of Business Development – Private Client, responsibilities will include:
- Leading on developing key business development strategies to drive improved client acquisition practices, as well as developing key practice pipelines.
- Utilising key data tools (which have been recently invested in), to report on performance and make well-informed commercial decisions.
- Be involved in client initiatives, including attending client meetings, building and owning strategic relationships, and identifying opportunities for the partners.
- Support with cross-selling initiatives across different practice teams within the business development and marketing function.

- Someone with a high-level experience of business development and marketing initiatives within a law firm and / or wider professional services environment – practice subject matter knowledge is not a requirement.
- An established Manager with confidence in developing top level strategic ideas and presenting this to stakeholders through a data-backed approach.
- A commercially minded individual with a strong grasp of engaging with key clients, and using the information they give for future commercial activities in a proactive manner.
- Highly engaged with both internal and external stakeholders, and can comfortably engage other business teams with new ideas, whilst also coordinating on large-scale projects.
