We are delighted to once again be partnered with one of the fastest growing US law firms in the world today, in search of a newly created Business Development Manager to grow and expand their high-performing Paris office. This hire comes in a time of new leadership and a genuine vision to create an integrated global business development function between the US and Europe, and will join team that are making several new hires within Paris, and across Europe.
This is a fantastic role for an established Manager, or a Specialist keen progress, that is highly driven and enjoys an entrepreneurial environment, working autonomously, as well as in an international team.
Reporting into the newly appointed Head of Business Development – Paris, responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing key business development strategies, in collaboration with the Head of Business Development in Paris, that will be aligned to the firm’s goals of international growth.
- Being the main point of contact for partners within the region, across different practice groups, with a strong focus on transactional practice groups, collaborating on aligning practice strategies to support with the P&L management.
- Leading on practice and regional specific marketing content, campaign and events to ensure enhanced engagement with priority clients and growing the firm’s global reputation.
- Ensure business development prospect lists and data are maintained, accurate, and acted upon in a proactive manner, working with international teams to align on client priorities.

- Has a strong business development background within an international law firm, with knowledge of complex processes and an understanding of navigating partnership environments.
- A proactive specialist who has strong attention to detail, and is driven by accurate data insights to develop successful business development strategies.
- Able to build and develop trust through consistent performance with partners and lawyers, offering valuable advice, and communicating their expertise with stakeholders.
- Comfortable with collaborating with team members in both the Parisian market, and internationally, including regions such as London, across Germany and the US, whilst also being comfortable managing junior team members.
