This is a highly visible and strategic role to support the business development efforts of the Firm’s internationally recognized Labor & Employment practice. The L&E practice is among the most respected in the nation, representing employers in their most complex and high-profile workplace matters. The team advises on all facets of labor relations, employment counseling, litigation, investigations, and workplace policies. The Business Development Manager will serve as a key business partner, working closely with lawyers across offices to develop, execute, and enhance marketing and client development strategies. This role is central to identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow existing relationships and generate new business across the L&E practice.
The firm is seeking a highly motivated and strategic individual with practical legal or professional services experience in a marketing or business development function. Experience in a Labor and Employment specific practice is a plus. The ideal candidate will have robust project management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a strong collaborative working style. They will also work well in a fast-paced, demanding environment , have strong time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects independently. Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is required.
