A top-tier global law firm is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to support its Energy, Natural Resources, and Infrastructure practice. As the global landscape for energy and infrastructure undergoes significant transformation, this firm is at the heart of the deals and projects shaping the future. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for implementing strategic marketing plans that support the growth of the ENRI practice across the U.S. and globally. Working closely with partners and fee earners, you will provide critical support for client pursuits, managing the end-to-end proposal process and developing high-quality marketing collateral. You will act as a central point of contact for the practice, ensuring that all business development activities are coordinated and that the firm’s deep expertise in energy and infrastructure is effectively communicated to the market.

Market intelligence is a cornerstone of this role, and you will be tasked with conducting in-depth research into sector trends, competitor activity, and prospective client needs. This insight will inform the practice’s targeting exercises and help shape thought leadership and media opportunities. You will also manage the practice’s involvement in major industry conferences and client events, ensuring the firm maintains a high profile in the sector. Collaboration is key, as you will work with colleagues across the global business development network to share best practices and drive cross-selling initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive business development experience within a professional services or legal setting, ideally with exposure to the energy, natural resources, or infrastructure sectors. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making. A detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment are essential. We are looking for an individual who is proactive, persistent, and eager to contribute to the success of a world-leading practice group.
