Wipro, a leading global information technology, consulting, and business process services company, recognised the need to strengthen its marketing function to support its ambitious growth plans across Europe.

Wipro partnered with tml Partners, senior marketing headhunters, to identify and hire top talent for four critical marketing roles: Chief Marketing Officer (Europe), Marketing Lead – Salesforce Europe, Director of Marketing – UK&I, and Head of Campaign Marketing, now promoted to Director of Campaign Marketing.

The Outcome:

David Zaranka, Manager at tml Partners, worked closely with Wipro to understand the needs of the company, and its growth plans, and then develop specific briefs for each role. After these discussions, tml Partners went to market with the following roles:

Chief Marketing Officer: The European CMO would be needed to build and lead a best-in-class marketing function to strategise and implement Wipro’s marketing program across Europe. The CMO needed to lead from the front, whilst blending creativity and digital experience, with a large focus on demand generation.

Director of Campaign Marketing: The right candidate would need to plan, develop, deliver and optimise end-to-end campaigns across Europe, driving increased engagement and demand with both existing and new clients. The role would require partnering with the global business unit leads and regional European marketing lead

Head of Marketing – UK & Ireland: Based in London, this role needed to drive and own the shaping and delivery of all marketing and communications within the region to help generate revenue and build the local brand of Wipro in line with Wipro’s UK&I business strategy. This role would work closely with Wipro’s global marketing teams.

Marketing Lead – Salesforce Europe: Wipro required a go-to-market lead who could own the regional marketing strategy and outbound marketing activities for their European Salesforce practice. The right candidate would need to utilise the full marketing mix to drive awareness, knowledge and consideration of the connection between Wipro solutions and services and Salesforce solutions and services in Europe.
