Havelock One Interiors are leaders in luxury interior design, specialising in retail, hospitality, commercial, entertainment and more. They operate across 7 areas in the MENA region – Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, Manama, Riyadh, and Askar. Havelock One’s vision is to become a key partner in some of the most high-profile interior design projects. 

The Challenge

International recruitment firm, tml Partners, were briefed on Havelock One’s requirements for this critical hire, which had been in the market for the majority of 2022 before tml Partners were briefed. Havelock One required support to identify the right individual for a Head of Marketing position, which would essentially revitalise and enhance the firms brand equity cross-regionally.  

Havelock One was in a crucial time in its 25-year history, and was seeking a dynamic and strong marketing leader to build a best-in-class marketing function. They had a particular interest in bringing in a specialist from the London market to relocate, however, they were also open to homegrown talent – both of which tml Partners were best placed to facilitate. 

The Solution

David Price, Director – Professional Services, and Klaidi Palluqi, Real Estate practice lead, at tml Partners began by deeply understanding the client’s needs and the challenges they were facing – primarily centred around creative initiatives and knowledge of the wider business environment. This opportunity needed the right individual with a passionate drive to implement best practice for their marketing function, with a big-picture mindset. 

Having now successfully appointed the Head of Marketing from the London market to relocate to Dubai, Havelock One is seeing a genuine transformation in their branding, with great value from this strategic hire.
