A leading global software provider is seeking a Senior Director of Demand Generation to architect and scale a world-class, multi-product demand engine. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving qualified pipeline and revenue across both enterprise and small-business B2B segments.
In this senior position, you will design innovative, data-driven strategies that challenge the status quo and embed scalable frameworks into every global initiative. You will own targets for MQLs, opportunity creation, and sourced/influenced revenue, managing a significant budget and leading a global team of marketing leaders. This role requires strategic curiosity, creative problem-solving, and the ability to influence at the highest levels, serving as a central partner to Sales, Product Marketing, and Executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Design and drive sophisticated demand generation strategies for multiple products across global regions, targeting complex enterprise sales cycles and high-velocity small-business motions.
- Operational Excellence: Design repeatable, scalable frameworks for demand generation to enable predictable growth across various regions and product lines.
- Funnel Optimization: Own the development of demand funnels, ensuring clear definitions, SLAs, and seamless handoffs with Sales for pipeline management.
- Integrated Campaigns: Build and optimize a portfolio of creative campaigns—including digital, content, outbound, and ABM—to position the company competitively.
- Budget & Channel Management: Allocate and optimize a large budget across PPC, paid social, display, content syndication, and events to maximize ROI.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales leadership to align on goals, capacity, and territories, while collaborating with Marketing Operations on lead scoring, routing, and attribution.
- Executive Influence: Present performance, strategy, and investment recommendations to C-level executives, translating marketing outcomes into clear revenue impact.
- Innovation: Champion a culture of experimentation, building a rigorous test-and-learn engine across channels, creative offers, and funnel stages.
About You
- B2B Marketing Expertise: Extensive experience in the technology industry, with a proven track record of owning demand generation and pipeline targets.
- Proven Leadership: Deep experience in people management, including leading other leaders (Directors and Senior Managers) and managing distributed global teams.
- Financial Acumen: Demonstrated success managing and optimizing multimillion-dollar marketing budgets across digital and offline channels.
- GTM & PLG Knowledge: In-depth expertise in Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategies and GTM models across direct, indirect, channel, and marketplace environments.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on understanding of PPC and SEO, alongside strong experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) and CRM systems like Salesforce.
- Strategic Mindset: A strong analytical thinker capable of defining KPIs, building dashboards, and using data to drive high-level decision-making.
- Communication: Excellent executive-level communication skills, with the ability to tell a compelling story and differentiate the brand in competitive markets.
