DMU is a bold, globally active university with campuses in Leicester, London, Dubai, Kazakhstan, and Cambodia. With a refreshed strategic direction and a desire to build a modern, insight-driven global brand, the university is seeking a commercial, innovative marketing leader to redefine its reputation and accelerate student acquisition worldwide.
Reporting to the Chief Transformation & Resources Officer and sitting on the University Leadership Team, the GMO will shape DMU’s global marketing, brand, digital, student acquisition, and communications strategy. You’ll drive a step-change in direct international recruitment, modernise home-market engagement, and build the data-driven marketing capability needed for future growth.
DMU is particularly interested in fresh perspectives from outside the higher-education sector. They welcome senior marketing leaders from consumer, digital-first, brand-led, services, or global multichannel industries—people who bring challenger thinking, modern performance marketing discipline, and audience-centric brand expertise.
This role offers the chance to define a new global brand proposition, strengthen DMU’s digital and analytics capability, and shape marketing across a diverse international network—while leading a talented team across marketing, communications, and digital.
