The Business Development Manager role will sit within the dynamic Marketing & Business Development function and will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the firm’s US and global business development strategy for the Financial Institutions Group. You will bring sector-specific knowledge and proactive BD expertise to the heart of the expanding practice, while also contributing directly to global initiatives. Key responsibilities include leading and supporting US Financial Institutions Group strategy, developing tailored pitches and RFP responses, managing and enhancing key client relationships across major US and global financial institutions, and overseeing US-based thought leadership content and campaigns. This role requires a proactive, strategic mindset at the intersection of local market engagement and international collaboration.
The ideal candidate is a highly skilled business development professional with experience working in a law or professional services firm, with a particular focus on corporate – financial services specific experience preferred. They must demonstrate strong emotional intelligence, independent thinking, sound judgment, and excellent collaboration skills, with a focus on building strong internal and external relationships. The candidate must possess strong multi-tasking and project management capabilities, the ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure, and a natural curiosity and passion to grow into a well-rounded business development practitioner.
