We are delighted to once again be with an elite law firm in search of a Business Development Manager on a 12 month FTC, for their flagship antitrust and competition practice group – a genuinely market leading team. This person will be involved in some of the most crucial projects within both the local UK markets, and internationally. The firm are highly focused on driving commercial goals, and you will have a key part in imparting your influence onto the partner group, by advising on new ideas and proactive work.
Reporting into the EMEA Head of Business Development – Antitrust, responsibilities will include:
- Playing an advisory role to partners on new business opportunities, as well as managing cross-selling projects to enhance commercial growth opportunities.
- Line management of one assistant in the UK, ensuring that they are well-placed to carry out tactical tasks and projects, whilst also coordinating regional support for the team.
- Coaching and advising partners on their profile raising (including supporting with events and campaign tasks), and business development plans.
- Developing integrated campaigns for the practice group, ensuring effective profile-raising across both digitally and print-marketing channels.

- Someone with a high-level experience of business development and marketing initiatives within a law firm and / or wider professional services environment – practice subject matter knowledge is not a requirement.
- An established Manager with confidence in developing top level strategic projects and presenting this to stakeholders through a data-backed approach.
- A commercially minded individual with a strong grasp of market research initiatives and applying these to client relationship programmes, resulting in revenue growth.
- Self-motivated individuals who are comfortable liaising and engaging other business teams with new ideas, whilst also coordinating and managing other individuals.
