What is the best piece of career advice you’ve ever had?

Focus on outcomes and build teams with a sense of purpose towards those outcomes

What has been the most influential impact on your leadership career and why?

Learnings from sports – team spirit, the willingness to overcome challenges, not just winning but about raising the bar every time one competes, respect for your opponents, celebration of life

What career advice would you now give to yourself 10 years ago?

Think like a child always! They see the world with a purity and simplicity which when applied to business life creates a path to success

What is the biggest challenge you think you and your industry peers will face in the next five years?

Understanding the digital natives in their consumption patterns

What’s the toughest interview question you’ve ever asked or been asked?

What is my/ your weakness – no matter how sincerely one answers that question, it always seems like you are talking about a strength!

Who is your business hero and why?

Mahatma Gandhi and Steve Jobs – both created revolutions in their own way and there is so much to learn from how they created change

Google maps – takes me places!
