Senior Business Development Lead – Disputes Resolutions

We are delighted to once again be partnered with a genuine global leader in the legal space in search of a Disputes BD Lead. You will be leading on of their most reputable and respected practice groups, working with high profile clients and identifying key opportunities for the team to be included on landmark cases, ensuring the practice does not remain complacent and enhances its position as an industry leader. This is a proactive position designed for this person to come in and create genuine impact, within a highly engaged partner group.

This opportunity would be fantastic for an established Disputes marketer and business development specialist, from Manager level to Head of, and is comfortable challenging the status quo!

Reporting into the Co-Heads of Business Development, responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as an advisor for stakeholder groups and partners to drive and implement effective BD strategy for the group, as well as finding ways to diversify the groups offering.
  • Identifying opportunities for the group for new client acquisition, whilst also cross-selling internally.
  • Consulting partners on best practice in regards to new pitch opportunities, ensuring they are utilising the central pitch team effectively and where necessary.
  • Working with partners on campaign content, which is topical to their designated Disputes sector and in the interest of their target clients.

  • A strong business development leader across legal and professional services with experience in associated areas to Disputes, including Litigation, Arbitration and Investigations.
  • Can easily communicate with senior stakeholders effectively and get partner buy-in through presenting compelling strategic ideas to execute on.
  • Has an analytical mind to be able to digest large amounts of data and industry news, and identify BD opportunities from these materials.
