tml Partners are delighted to have been retained by a world leader in business transformation and cloud consulting to appoint a group Chief Marketing Officer.
Joining a close-knit board based across multiple jurisdictions and reporting directly to the CEO, the role will own a commercial P&L spanning 9 geographic clusters and 2 group functions to create a unified brand identity and go to market platform, whether that’s delivered across the field at a local level, or enterprise programmes to create a one firm approach to marketing.
The CMO will head a global team of c. 65, and manage a sizeable, multi-million $ budget.
The firm is backed by one of the world’s leading and largest private equity houses by AUM, ensuring a strong focus on commercial results and ROI from marketing spend, and offering a different style of organisation and management to that traditionally found in Professional Services.
The CMO will be able to influence and guide regional MDs and local teams to drive in market activity and results through targeted commercial programmes, whilst aligning to a one firm halo brand architecture.
Some of the key strategic focus areas will centre around international growth and enterprise accounts, with 40% of business already emanating out of North America, the CMO will pay a pivotal role in the firm’s expansion across this region, as well as other key geographies. They’ll be confident embedding firm-wide programmes such as ABM to drive enterprise account growth at scale.
Most importantly, and this is very much a non-negotiable pre-requisite for existing experience, the CMO will own the partner ecosystem, specifically with one of the largest cloud providers for which this firm have become a top 1% global partner over the last 2 decades.
Understanding how to leverage brand and co-investment, as well as sales and referrals through the partner model is critical to the success of this role.
