tml Partners are extremely delighted to be partnering with a global law firm that has seen exponential growth in the last year, in search of a fantastic Business Development Manager to join them on a fixed 12-month contract. This is a significantly important hire based in the vibrant Bristol and Edinburgh markets, looking to drive and support all BD functions for the next year – an important time period for the firm. role is hybrid and can report to the Bristol or Edinburgh regional offices.

This fantastic opportunity is an all-encompassing business development role, that will involve a heavy account management piece and offer the chance to develop an in-depth knowledge of market and client challenges in order to provide solutions to achieve effective value to business development activities. This individual will also take an analytical approach in managing and delivering sales processes and creating marketing collateral.

Reporting directly to the firm’s Senior Development Manager, this role will take a fluid position in identifying and developing growth opportunities, whilst also optimising current and prospective client relationships to grow the business.

  • Proven experience in a Business Development role within the legal sector or similar professional services with a proven ability to manage key client targeting initiatives and drive business forward.
  • A confident and commercially driven account management specialist that is able to effectively strategize key client relationship building initiatives.
  • Someone with a collaborative mindset who is able to effectively communicate key strategies across the business, including with the partner group, and across different practice / sector teams.
